Gavin Cassidy is a Senior Data Science Major at St. Lawrence University. Born in Concord, MA, Gavin grew up a faculty child on the campus of Middlsex School. Growing up with his parents working at the school, Gavin roamed the fields and woods around campus, playing many sports and growing a love for the outdoors. As a student there he learned the importance of challenging oneself academically, working his way through the Middlesex experiences of writing workshop or sophmore acting. At St. Lawrence Gavin continues his love of sports and the outdoors, staying involved in hiking and skiing, and serving as a Captain on the St. Lawrence Men's Squash team. Gavin also continued to persue his academics, becoming an Honors BS in Data Science and the Student Assistant Director of the Peterson Quantitative Resource Center.
From Cement Testing Technician at an exciting Startup to Student Assistant Director at a Quantitative Resource Center, Gavin has explored a range of exciting opportunities over the years. Developing skills in teaching, coaching, data science, and labs, take a look at many of the interesting fields Gavin has been able to experience over the years.
